Precarious America Series (Begun in January, 2018)
These paintings are meditations on what it would be like to be in the midst of cultural disintegration. The precarious nature of civilization becomes more apparent as civility lessens. The paintings select items that will be lost; architecture, agriculture, formulas, communications, education, history and cultural anchors like paintings that represent complex ideas with reference to the entire world of art connoisseurship.
