This piece is one of seven created for the university. These photos were taken the day of installation and the pavers were to all be in place by the time my work arrived from Michigan.

This very complicated piece is full of symbolism of our culture. As in medieval hierarchy our highest values are placed at the top; first the military and then our individual selves as the center of the rose window.
Yes, it's hard to see detail, 12 pieces are mounted on 25 ft. of wall above the check -in counter in the new emergency wing. Each piece refers to figures or themes important in the history of the community. The Chautauqua Institution Bell Tower is about 36 inches high.
